Young Actors Studio

Drama workshops in English for young actors age 12 to15 and 16 to 19 years of age.

Our drama workshops in English are designed for teens who do not speak Croatian, providing a place where they can socialize, strengthen their communication skills, develop their acting skills such as speaking on stage, presentation skills, vocal and physical expression, spontaneity and stage presence.

In our classes we will be doing:

• acting games
• drama exercises
• vocal and diction exercises
• excercises for body awareness and movent on stage
• improvisations for stage
• short texts, monologues and scenes
• character analysis and creation of characters for stage and on camera
• observation class at the end of the term
• short end-of-year production

The students will e working with Romana, a theatre actor and director, who has got close to 20 years experience in teaching, having worked in schools such as John Rober Powers, Rockville and Imagination Stage Bethesda, USA among others.

 When filling in the enrolment form please choose between:

• Teens on Stage / for teens age 12-15, once a week, Saturday mornings. 
• Acting Fundamentals / acting workshops for age 16 to 19, once a week, Saturday mornings. 
• Private classes in English / as a preparation for auditions at international universities or just to fit your personal needs. Info at iaczagreb@live.com

Autumn term begins on September 18th 2021, and runs for 12 weeks, until December 4th. 2021

Price for one 12 week term is 900kn when paid in 3 increments or 810kn for Early Bird payments in full.
